This top is made from Ankara, the vivid wax print cotton found across West Africa, machine printed with the bold geometric patterns the fabric is known for. Ankara holds its structure well, which matters here since the peplum needs a fabric with enough body to flare properly rather than collapse against the hips.
Care Guide
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
- Do not bleach
- Tumble dry low or hang to dry
- Iron inside out on a medium setting
- Wash dark colourways separately for the first wash
- Close the back zip before washing to protect the fabric around it
Sizing & Fit
This is a fitted silhouette through the bodice, so true to size will give you the closest, most tailored fit through the waist. If you prefer more room through the bust and waist, or want the peplum to sit a little looser, sizing up is the better choice, since the open back panel and concealed zip mean there is less built in stretch than in our looser pieces.
