BINTA Adire Football Jersey
The BINTA Adire Jersey is a football style, short sleeve jersey in a crew neck cut, worked in the ILA pattern, bold horizontal bands of hand dyed teal and white with the BINTA crest at the chest. It carries real history, this jersey was widely worn by fans for the Nigeria versus Poland friendly match in June 2026, presented to the NFF Chairman during the match camp, gifted to the Nigerian Ambassador in Warsaw, and worn by Mister and Miss Supranational Nigeria 2026 during their camp in Poland. Its reception has been strong enough that new runs are now being produced for the upcoming FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Poland, where the Nigerian team is competing, and for October 1st Nigerian Independence Day celebrations. Wear it to a match, a celebration, or just as an easy everyday statement piece with jeans or shorts. True to size fit, available from M to XXL.
Hand-Dyed Adire & the ILA Pattern
This jersey is made from adire, Nigeria’s resist dye textile, hand dyed using tie and fold techniques that give the ILA pattern its bold, wave like bands of colour. Because the dye is applied entirely by hand, no two jerseys carry exactly the same pattern, so the one you wear is genuinely your own. Adire is lightweight and breathable, which is part of why this jersey has held up so well through match day crowds, camps, and repeated wear, and like all adire pieces it only gets softer over time.
Care Guide
- Hand wash cold or gentle machine wash
- Wash alone for the first wash, do not mix with other clothing
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry, lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight
- Iron inside out on a low setting
- The first wash will release some dye, this is normal for adire and will not change the look of the jersey itself
